Health and Wellness Benefits

Medical Insurance

Alliance Defending Freedom has thoughtfully structured a medical insurance plan with cutting-edge features and options. You are in control - from the services and providers you chose to how much money you spend on medical services.  We offer a PPO insurance plan that gives you the freedom to obtain medical care from a variety of network doctors and hospitals.  Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) underwrites our medical insurance plan. BCBS partners with many medical providers and prescription benefit plans to offer you deep discounts for their services. We pay 100% of the monthly insurance premium in addition to contributing generously to your personal Health Savings Account. Your Health Savings Account is tax free money that you use to pay for eligible medical expenses like deductibles, office visits, and prescriptions.

Benefits are provided to you and your covered dependents through Guardian Insurance. This plan allows freedom of choice to visit any dentist; however, you will receive higher levels of benefits by using contracted dental providers.

Our voluntary vision insurance plan, for a minimal monthly cost, gives you access to a wide network of doctors for your vision needs including major discounts on lenses and frames.

401(k) Retirement Savings Plan

We offer an excellent opportunity for you to save and plan for retirement while taking advantaging of special tax breaks.  Our plan immediately matches your contributions dollar for dollar up to the first 4%. You can count on that money going to work for you right away since the company’s match is fully vested immediately.  We encourage you to take advantage of the services of a professional stock broker (provided by us) who can assist you in developing a personal investment strategy – at no cost to you!

Disability and long-term care protection is provided to you at no cost. You have the option to buy additional and affordable long-term care insurance for you and your loved ones when you become eligible for benefits or during open enrollment each year. 

Alliance Defending Freedom provides you with life and accident insurance at no cost to you!  Our plan allows purchasing additional life coverage for you and your family at affordable rates when you become eligible for benefits or during open enrollment each year.

Work / Life Quality

Paid Time Off (PTO)

Work and life balance is essential for you to stay healthy and energized.  Our goal for you is to maintain a healthy balance of hard work and restful away from the office.  Eligible team members accrue generous amounts of PTO each month to use as they choose.  PTO allows you approved time away, with pay, for scheduled vacations, and personal time away, for example, to take care of your illness or a family member’s illness.  The amount of PTO hours you accrue each month will increase every five years of service with the organization up to 15 years of service.

In addition to generous PTO benefits, enjoy a minimum of ten paid holidays each year to relax with your family and friends.  

We offer a flexible spending account for dependent care financial obligations that allows you to put away up to $5,000 annually in pre-tax contributions.

Fulfill your civic duty as a juror if you are selected for jury duty.  We will pay you for up to one week (40 hours of compensation) so that you can participate in jury duty.

Fitness Room (Scottsdale): We understand the importance of a healthy body and mind and how it affects a person's work. The room is equipped with a variety of weights, an elliptical, stability balls with convenient access to men’s and women’s locker rooms with showers.
